He graduated from Tribhuwan University & post graduated with specialization in oncology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka. He has worked as a solid tumor expert in various prestigious institute of Nepal including BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. He has played pivotal role in establishment of few cancer centers in Nepal as well. He has been working as clinician, educationaist and advocate for evidence based practice in this field.
